Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator (Construction / Fabrication) to join the team. This person will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates based on project notes, drawings, and pricing structures. The role is key to maintaining cost efficiency, competitiveness, and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction and fabrication projects, with emphasis on aluminum/metal work.
• Analyze project requirements, materials, labor, and timelines to generate accurate cost projections.
• Review and interpret project documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with management to review and adjust estimates as needed.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project cost data.
• Contribute to streamlining estimating processes and implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience as an Estimator, ideally in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software/tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Mid-level or specialized estimating experience preferred.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Background specifically in aluminum or metal fabrication projects.
• Familiarity with industry-specific estimating tools and practices.
