Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
* 2+ years of professional experience in application development, preferably in cloud environments.
* Proficiency in Python programming and experience in building and deploying applications in AWS and/or Azure.
* Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
* Experience in the energy sector is a plus but not required.
Preferred:
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* DevOps tools
* Docker
* Logging and monitoring (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
* API design and integration
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services in cloud applications aligned with business objectives.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment of deliverables.
* Enhance and optimize existing applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Contribute to architectural and design discussions for cloud-native systems and participate in code reviews.
* Support and extend cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks.
* Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software changes.
* Monitor cloud environments and applications using observability tools to ensure performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
* Document design decisions, system architecture, and implementation details to ensure long-term maintainability and facilitate knowledge transfer.
