Requirements and responsibilities

• Provide architectural and practical guidance to product developers to ensure that the designed solution responds to non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, security, and maintainability • Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting of service level objectives • Maintain incident response procedures and frameworks • Conduct post-mortems, investigate, analyze and document unplanned downtime events • Conduct capacity planning to proactively predict and mitigate capacity events • Automate existing manual processes to remove toil • Peer mentoring software developers and DevOps on developing reliable SaaS applications.
