Acclaro is looking for a Language Lead – English to Simplified Chinese to join its freelance network and champion linguistic quality across IT, software, and UI/UX localization projects.This is a strategic role for an experienced language professional who can combine linguistic expertise with leadership, quality management and technical localization knowledge.Define and maintain linguistic quality standardsManage style guides, glossaries and Translation MemoriesLead and mentor a distributed team of translators, editors and LQA testersWork with Project Managers, engineers and clients to solve linguistic and technical challengesMonitor quality, resource performance and project deliveryWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field5+ years' experience in software, IT, or UI/UX localization2+ years in a Language Lead, Reviewer, or LQA roleNative-level Simplified ChineseExcellent written EnglishStrong CAT/TMS and QA tool experience, such as Trados, Phrase, memoQ or XbenchMust be based outside China
