The role involves mentoring students in their online Software Engineering Career Track Bootcamp. The mentors are required to have weekly 30-minute check-ins with their students to discuss questions, projects, and career advice. They are also available outside of weekly calls to review projects and answer questions as needed. Responsibilities: - Teaching coding and software engineering - Providing weekly, 30-minute video check-ins for each student to help them set and achieve learning goals, provide feedback, and help them move towards getting a job - Being available outside of weekly calls for each student to review projects and answer questions as needed - Critiquing work, in particular giving meaningful feedback on web development - Utilizing Zoom for the 30-minute calls with students
