Requirements and responsibilities

Tribus Aerospace is a U.S. owned and operated manufacturing business focused primarily in the global Aerospace and Defense markets. We provide expertise and capabilities in precision machining of complex components and assemblies. We strive to be an employer of choice that provides a healthy, safe, and supportive work environment for a diverse team of talented employees. We have locations in Michigan, Ohio, and California. This role is "Remote Capable", meaning the candidate could work fully remote with travels to facilities as needed or sit in one of our locations and assist other locations as needed virtually or in person. We are looking for an IT Manager to lead a team of IT professionals and maintain and improve essential IT operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to delegate and drive results through others, as well as be hands-on in resolving issues. This role will ensure governance, architecture, maintenance, process automation, and support for the organization's IT assets and business processes. The IT Manager will manage the general day-to-day operations of computer systems, networks, programs, infrastructure, helpdesk support, databases, and other technologies across all Tribus operating companies. Additionally, the IT Manager will bridge the gap between IT applications and the rest of the business, ensuring network security and compliance with DoD Information Security programs (CMMC, DFARS). Responsibilities: - Resolve all IT problems submitted by the company’s users in a timely and efficient manner. - Learn and become familiar with new IT capabilities, understand the business implications to the current and future environment, and recommend changes to business processes, as appropriate. Develop and drive an IT roadmap. - Manage IT assets and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.). - Oversee the setup and removal of accounts. Manage licenses, including Office 365. - Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. - Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. - Thorough knowledge of all Company computer software and hardware systems. - Identify when third-party resources are necessary and manage these resources accordingly.
