Requirements and responsibilities

Lazarus Naturals is on a mission to make quality hemp-based CBD accessible to everybody. They own their manufacturing process from start to finish—beginning at their hemp farms in Central Oregon to their extraction, formulation, and packaging—all to deliver safe, effective CBD at an affordable price. They provide a 60% Assistance Program to veterans and individuals with disabilities or low-income. Lazarus Naturals is looking to hire a Supply Chain Director to oversee day-to-day operations across sourcing, purchasing, warehousing, demand planning, and order fulfillment. This position will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the team has the proper controls, reporting procedures, and people in place to ensure productivity goals are met. Responsibilities: - Works with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement the annual operations plan that supports business goals, budget and company strategy. - Lead demand planning and purchase planning to ensure reliability and continuity of raw materials and components to maintain stock and support the production plan in a cost-effective manner. - Create and drive a sustainable and robust supply chain and sourcing strategy with the intent to develop and execute on new growth directives and initiatives. - Develop processes and systems to drive balance sheet minimization based upon better forecasting, inventory management, and production planning. - Managing order fulfillment, logistics including internal fleet, warehousing, and kitting. - Manage warehouse and inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs, warehousing and kitting strategy and workflow. - Responsible for logistics management for inbound and outbound freight. - Develop metrics, reports and dashboards for analyzing warehouse and distribution performance, cost targets, and highlight/focus on improvements.
