Responsibilities

Principal Architect Location: - Doha, Qatar (Remote working with potential travel across GCC). Role Overview: - A fast-growing international engineering and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Principal Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. - Join a global team delivering advanced cloud, AI, and hyperscale data center projects across the Middle East, Europe, and the USA. - This role offers the opportunity to drive architectural excellence, lead multidisciplinary teams, and work on some of the world's most advanced digital infrastructure developments. Responsibilities: - Lead architectural design and delivery for Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. - Manage projects from concept design through detailed design and construction. - Coordinate with MEP, Structural, Civil, BIM, and specialist consultants. - Lead design reviews, client workshops, and technical coordination meetings. - Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and client standards. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to design teams. - Review technical submissions, materials, and design documentation. - Support project planning, value engineering, and construction reviews. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. - 8+ years of architectural design experience with leadership responsibility. - Experience delivering Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Industrial, or Complex Infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of international building codes, fire/life safety standards, and design regulations. - Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
