Requirements and responsibilities


Job Summary: - We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. - The ideal candidate will assist in testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring products meet business and technical requirements before release. - This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates beginning a career in software quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: - Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications. - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams. - Review requirements and participate in test planning activities. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Validate bug fixes and retest resolved issues. - Maintain test documentation and test reports. - Support continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Knowledge of manual testing concepts and defect management. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Skills: - Basic knowledge of SQL. - Basic knowledge of API testing. - Basic knowledge of Selenium. - Basic knowledge of Postman. - Basic knowledge of JIRA or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of test automation concepts. - Exposure to web or mobile application testing through projects or internships. - ISTQB Foundation Certification is a plus. Key Competencies: - Critical thinking. - Time management. - Team collaboration. - Adaptability and willingness to learn. - Documentation and reporting skills. Experience: - Freshers / 0–1 year experience. - Internship or academic project experience preferred.
