Role Overview: Global Good x Amani, a global impact consulting firm, is growing rapidly across Africa and beyond, and we are looking for a Nairobi-based Senior Consultant to join our expanding portfolio of work in the region. This role goes beyond execution, it requires someone who can independently lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs while also shaping and owning the work. The Senior Consultant will serve as a credible, client-facing lead, with strong facilitation and communication skills, and a steady hand in ensuring program quality. They will collaborate with global teams, engage directly with diverse stakeholders, and design and deliver high-quality, custom training programs. The ideal candidate is both an independent thinker and a strong team player, with a solution- oriented mindset and a track record of delivering impactful work. Over time, they will deepen client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of Global Good x Amani’s practice across Africa and globally. Responsibilities Program design, delivery & documentation (55%) ● Design and develop quality interventions that address client needs ● Lead facilitation of in-person, virtual, and hybrid engagements ● Lead program quality end-to-end, from preparation through documentation ● Gather lessons learned continuously and use them to improve future design ● Partner with the MEL team to produce timely, high-quality client reports Client relationship & project management (30%) ● Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned client relationships ● Communicate proactively and professionally on all project matters ● Track timelines, deliverables, and risks; flag issues early ● Support clean project closeout and transition to follow-on engagements Team development (10%) ● Actively support the development of junior consultants through modeling and informal coaching ● Contribute to methodology stewardship and Global Good x Amani's knowledge base Business development (5%) ● Support proposal writing and client scoping conversations as needed ● Leverage existing networks in the region to surface growth opportunities Core Competencies: ● Facilitation - Skilled at questioning, active listening, managing group dynamics, and reading the room. Able to hold space for senior stakeholders and adapt in real time ● Program management - Can lead and manage multi-stakeholder, multi-country programs from brief to design and execution ● Client management - Able to build trust and manage client relationships independently ● Professional rigor - Clear and timely communicator. Brings a learner's mindset and upholds Global Good x Amani's standards without prompting Qualifications: 12-15 years of global / regional experience in leadership development, organizational development, instructional design and program management. and or impact consulting. Bachelor’s degree in education, HR, International Development, or other relevant fields. Added advantages: ● Masters in any of the fields listed above ● International impact (social) sector work experience ● Experience working in global teams ● Experience working in a consulting setup ● Over 2 years’ experience working remotely ● Leadership training OR Instructional design certifications
