Requirements and responsibilities


Top 3 Must-Have Skills - 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing. - Experience with SAP systems (ability to understand high-level functionality). - Hands-on experience with NeoLoad (preferred) or LoadRunner. Job Description This role is responsible for implementing the test strategy, creating test assets, executing performance tests, analyzing test results, preparing test reports, and presenting findings to project teams. Key Responsibilities - Complete performance test plans (if required). - Create assets needed for testing, including: - Implementing the test strategy outlined in the test plan (test plan sign-off required). - Acquiring test user access. - Creating and reviewing storyboards. - Defining and obtaining test data if required. - Lead a team of scripters when necessary. - Create scripts if a scripter is unavailable. - Conduct code reviews of scripts created by other scripters. - Develop performance test scenarios. - Provide regular status reports to project leadership. - Lead execution of performance tests. - Analyze test data and results. - Escalate application issues to the Client, Engagement Manager, and Delivery Manager. - Develop and deliver performance test reports and obtain sign-off from stakeholders. Skills & Profile - 3–5 years of experience in performance testing (preferred). - Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Strong intercultural communication skills, team spirit, and willingness to collaborate. - In-depth knowledge of performance testing concepts, tools, and methodologies. - Experience developing complex performance test scripts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to analyze test results and identify tuning opportunities or performance-related defects. - Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues. - Experience with shift-left practices, including framework creation. Technical Knowledge - Experience with various application environments, including but not limited to: - .NET applications. - SAP systems. - Azure/AWS cloud-hosted applications. - SaaS solutions. - Java-based applications. - Understanding of application and network infrastructure, including: - Proxies. - Firewalls. - Load balancers (F5 and different load balancing types). Tools & Technologies - Experience with the following tools is desirable: - JMeter. - NeoLoad. - Fiddler. - Wireshark or NetMon. - PerfMon. - Tableau. - GitHub. - APM tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Datadog). Scripting Languages - Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages: - Perl. - JavaScript. - PowerShell.
