The engagement is project-based (8–12 weeks), with a strong emphasis on execution, documentation, and knowledge transfer.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience working with Azure, with a strong focus on monitoring and observabilityProven experience installing and configuring Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, and Application InsightsStrong proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) for building queries, workbooks, and alert rulesExperience configuring Azure Lighthouse across multi-subscription and cross-tenant environmentsHands-on experience with Azure Managed Grafana and dashboard creationExperience deploying infrastructure using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure PolicyProficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation tasksExperience working with incident management and RCA tooling within defined processesStrong documentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear runbooks and handoff materialsAbility to work within defined requirements, without ownership of ongoing operations or supportPreferred Qualifications:Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-900, AI-102)Experience working on fixed-scope or SOW-based engagementsFamiliarity with ITSM integrations such as ServiceNow or PagerDutyExperience with Azure Arc for hybrid or multi-cloud monitoringExposure to FinOps tools and Azure Cost ManagementExperience configuring AI-driven monitoring solutions (e.g., anomaly detection, Azure AI services)Key Responsibilities:Install and configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, and Application Insights across multiple Azure resource typesConfigure diagnostic settings and data collection rules (DCRs) to ensure proper ingestion of logs and metricsBuild KQL queries, Azure Monitor Workbooks, and dashboards aligned with client requirementsConfigure alerts, action groups, and intelligent alerting pipelines based on approved thresholdsImplement Azure Lighthouse configurations for cross-subscription and cross-tenant observabilitySet up incident management tooling, alert pipelines, escalation flows, and RCA frameworks as defined by the clientBuild automated remediation workflows using Azure Automation and Logic AppsConfigure AI-driven monitoring solutions, including anomaly detection and dynamic metrics dashboardsDevelop and deliver comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides and runbooksConduct knowledge transfer sessions to enable the client team to operate all deployed solutions
