As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, innovative, and performant software that adheres to industry standards and best practices. 🟣 Requirements: ◽️ Experience as a full-stack engineer, proficient in front and backend development. ◽️ Experience building, fixing, and scaling web applications (preferably B2B apps). ◽️ Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js. ◽️ Desire to learn and mentor others. ◽️ Strong communication and collaboration skills. ◽️ Innate desire to learn and grow professionally. ◽️ Solid foundation in computer science principles. ◽️ Dedication to writing and maintaining documentation. ◽️ Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. ◽️ Excellent English communication skills. ◽️ Currently residing in LATAM. 🟣 Nice to have: ◽️ Experience with extensive refactoring and re-engineering projects. ◽️ Proficiency in MySQL and Elasticsearch. ◽️ Familiarity with jQuery and React. ◽️ Knowledge of Redis, Resque, Java, and Play. ◽️ Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with AWS. ◽️ Familiarity with building RESTful APIs. 🟣 Responsibilities: ◽️ Provide technical leadership and implement best engineering practices throughout large-scale engineering initiatives. ◽️ Collaborate cross-functionally with support agents, engineers, designers, QA, and product managers to drive product and process improvements. ◽️ Design and develop new user-facing features and applications. ◽️ Enhance observability through the identification and implementation of logging and monitoring improvements. ◽️ Build test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality releases. ◽️ Lead initiatives to refactor, re-engineer, and enhance our platform. ◽️ Produce well-designed and fully unit-tested software that passes peer code reviews. ◽️ Deliver projects with high quality and at a rapid pace.
