Hi, I’m Alexander Torrenegra, CEO of Torre. We're looking for a content creator and [sarcastic] social media manager to help us reinvent how people find jobs and companies find talent. Most human talent goes to waste because it's never exposed to the right opportunities. Our mission is to change that. Join us on helping us make work fulfilling for everyone. This is a remote opportunity from anywhere in Latin America (except Cuba or Venezuela (because we're a US company). WHAT IS TORRE? We’re the first company to fully automate recruiting end-to-end. We’re the Waymo for recruiting. Our AI recruiter, Emma, helps both companies and candidates. She does everything a top recruiter does but doesn’t discriminate. She even predicts if a candidate is a good match not just for a given job but also for a company and team. Our end goal is to build THE matching network for work. Our seed round was $18M, of which I contributed $9M. Other investors included early investors and executives from Apple, Amazon, Meta, SpaceX, and TikTok. WHY THE OPENING? After five years of development and trials, we reached beta stage and started scaling our user acquisition efforts and revenue. Marketing and branding are now key for us. Speed is paramount. That’s why this role requires previous experience creating content and managing social media. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIS: You'll be responsible for creating content and managing our social media to reach the broadest possible audience (our audience is much wider than just our users). In terms of content creation, you'll craft short-format videos, animations, posts, and email messages that highlight our mission, history, features, benefits, functionality, and happy users (candidates and companies). You'll distribute such content through social media, email marketing, and paid ads (retargeting). Regarding social media management, you're expected to proactively interact with people who post about our competitors, discrimination, and other daemons. Ideally, your tone is naturally humorous, even sarcastic. Your KPIs will be: • Engagement of your posts in social media (likes, shares) • Opens and click-through rates of your email marketing campaigns • New users acquired directly attributed to your posts and comments in social media YOUR POTENTIAL CAREER PATH: Opportunities in Torre are endless. THE TEAM: You’ll report directly to me, the CEO. You’ll work closely with our head of marketing and head of product.
