At EvolutionCode, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with 7 to 9 years of experience in Data Engineering and modern data platforms on AWS. Strong expertise in data warehouses and lakehouses, ETL and ELT processes, dimensional modeling, and advanced SQL. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, or Palantir. Client-facing leadership skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable and cost-efficient data solutions. Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative profile, with experience in Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and team mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of scalable data platform and analytics solutions on AWS.
* Partner with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
* Act as technical lead, defining architecture, roadmaps, and best practices.
* Design and oversee data lakes, data warehouses, pipelines, and analytics solutions.
* Optimize performance, latency, and cloud costs by selecting the appropriate services.
* Review code, document solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
* Mentor Data Engineers and contribute to team standards and frameworks.
* Support pre-sales activities and technical assessments when required.
Required Technical Experience
* 7 to 9 years of experience in Data Engineering.
* Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, and Palantir.
* Deep knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, including Medallion Architecture.
* Experience with ETL and ELT processes.
* Dimensional data modeling using Kimball methodology.
* Advanced SQL skills.
* Solid background in relational databases.
* Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
* Proven experience designing and delivering solutions on AWS, including cost management.
