KKCompany now has nearly 500 employees across offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Hong Kong.Responsibilities:Design and evolve product architecture for scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions that align with business objectives and customer requirements.Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to translate product vision into robust technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.Establish and maintain architectural principles, design patterns, and technology standards across the product organization.Drive technology selection and architectural decisions, balancing innovation with pragmatic delivery timelines.Proactively identify and mitigate architectural risks, technical debt, and scalability constraints throughout the product development lifecycle.Lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance for complex system integrations and feature implementations.Champion engineering excellence through mentorship on system design, code quality, and architectural best practices.Research emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous architectural innovation and competitive advantage.Qualifications:6+ years of software architecture experience with a proven track record of designing and scaling SaaS products or cloud-native platforms.Proficiency in modern programming languages including at least one systems language (Go, Java, C#, Rust) and one dynamic language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby).4+ years of hands-on experience architecting and operating cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP at scale.Expert knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, event-driven systems, and distributed computing patterns.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK) and modern CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).Demonstrated ability to balance technical excellence with business pragmatism and delivery velocity.Excellent communication skills with ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams.Nice to Have:Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh technologies.Knowledge of observability tools and practices (monitoring, logging, distributed tracing).Experience designing the data-intensive architectures, ML/AI platforms, or high-throughput real-time processing systems.Knowledge of security-first architecture principles and enterprise compliance frameworks.Knowledge of performance engineering and SRE practices.Startup/high-growth environment experience.
