Responsibilities and deliverables
About the Role:
- We are looking for PhD-level physicists specializing in General Relativity, Astrophysics, or Cosmology to support a project with one of the world's leading AI labs.
- You will be using your expertise to create high-quality technical data that directly informs the development of cutting-edge large language models.
- The work is flexible, fully remote, and ongoing, with rolling applications open from February.
Responsibilities:
- Designing challenging, domain-specific problems in your area of expertise.
- Contributing high-quality technical content to support AI model development.
- Completing 4–6 tasks per week, each requiring several hours of focused work.
Requirements:
- PhD in Physics with a specialization in General Relativity, Astrophysics, or Cosmology.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work through complex, technically rigorous instructions.
The Basics:
- Start date: February, rolling applications.
- Hours: Flexible, based around 4–6 tasks per week.
- Fully remote, on your own schedule as an independent contractor.
- Application takes 20–40 minutes, including a short AI interview.
