ROLE: Senior Power System Engineer 📌Location: Perth, Brisbane, and Hobart, Australia. ✅Salary: up 120k Aud/Per Annual including super ✅Eligibility: Australian, PR or Working rights. ✅Work Type: Hybrid options available. ✅Employment Type: Full-Time (Working hours normal 8-9 hours per day. Monday to Friday. Day Shift.) ✅Joining Date: ASAP ✅Experience: 5 - 10 years of strong experience in power system modelling and analysis, Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as: PSSE, PSS® SINCAL, PowerFactory, ETAP, PTW, PSCAD. Grid Network Connection experience is Mandatory. ✅About the Role We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Power System Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced power system modelling, performing detailed system studies, and supporting engineering design for generation, transmission, and distribution networks and Grid Network Connection experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across renewable energy, utilities, mining, and oil & gas sectors while contributing to the evolving Australian energy landscape. ✅Key Responsibilities * Perform power system modelling, simulation, and analysis * Conduct load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and harmonic studies * Deliver electrical engineering calculations and design studies * Support projects across generation, transmission, and distribution systems * Ensure compliance with Australian grid technical rules and standards * Prepare technical reports, documentation, and study deliverables * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders * Develop and implement automation tools for data analysis and visualization * Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers (if required) ✅Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline * Eligibility for inclusion on the National Engineering Register (NER) Proven experience in one or more sectors: Renewable Energy, Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas ✅Technical Skills Strong experience in power system modelling and analysis Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as: PSSE, PSS® SINCAL, PowerFactory, ETAP, PTW, PSCAD Power quality monitoring tools Knowledge of: Australian grid technical rules and procedures Relevant AS/NZS, IEC, ANSI, IEEE standards Programming & Data Skills Experience with automation and data analysis using: Python, Fortran, T-SQL, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Grid Network Connection.
