Ustaff360 is hiring Accounting & Payroll Specialist (US Experience) on a remote basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing:Review and process 50–60 employee timesheets daily with accuracy and efficiency.Verify work hours, overtime, leave entries, and attendance-related payroll data.Ensure payroll information is complete, accurate, and ready for timely processing.Coordinate with internal team members to resolve missing, inconsistent, or incorrect timesheet data.Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation in an organized manner.Support payroll activities in accordance with U.S. payroll practices and standards.Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable:Manage Accounts Payable (AP) by recording invoices, tracking vendor payments, and resolving discrepancies.Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) by preparing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and reconciling customer accounts.Maintain accurate transaction coding and support general ledger updates.Assist with reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation.Data Management & Record Keeping:Perform accurate and intelligent data entry with full understanding of the context and financial impact of the information being entered.Maintain payroll logs, accounting records, reconciliation files, and supporting documentation.Organize and update spreadsheets, trackers, and internal financial databases.Excel Reporting & Analysis:Prepare and maintain detailed payroll and accounting reports in Microsoft Excel.Work confidently with large datasets and financial trackers.Use Excel functions and tools such as:Pivot TablesFilters and Conditional FormattingVLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other relevant formulasData validation, data cleaning, and analysisGenerate reports that support payroll accuracy, reconciliation, and operational decision-making.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.2–3 years of relevant experience in:Payroll processing, preferably for U.S.-based teams.General accounting, including AP and AR.Reviewing and managing high-volume timesheet data.Good understanding of U.S. payroll and accounting principles.Strong Microsoft Excel skills at an intermediate to advanced level.Preferred QualificationsExperience with payroll or accounting software such as QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, Xero, or similar platformsFamiliarity with time-tracking systems, HRMS, or workforce management tools
