The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise data center storage hardware and storage software, with additional experience in distributed file systems, networking, and backup. This role is focused on developing strategies to prevent failures and minimize downtime, while collaborating with technical teams and clients. The successful candidate must be able to justify thought processes with data in a professional manner. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 annually. Responsibilities: - Design and implementation of storage products – block, file, and object - Design automated health and capacity reports for proactive problem resolution - Document and maintain knowledgebase of storage deployments - Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve storage-related issues - Design and implement security measures to protect data stored on all platforms - Propose and lead analyses of alternative physical and logical layer designs and architectures - Ensure infrastructure is designed and architected for full-lifecycle operability and serviceability
