Pangea Properties is a privately held real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Chicago. They specialize in the acquisition and renovation of distressed multifamily properties in lower-middle-income, underserved communities. In the past 12 years, their portfolio has grown to over 13,000 apartment units owned and operated in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Baltimore, and they continue to expand. They are a six-time winner of Chicago Tribune’s “Top Workplace” award. Pangea is searching for a talented, ambitious, self-directed candidate to work as a Leasing Agent at one of our Indianapolis properties. The candidate is expected to have at least 2 years of experience in real estate or property management and a 2-year Associates degree is highly desired. A Real Estate Broker license is preferred. The candidate is expected to work autonomously with a flexible schedule as needed, but working weekends is expected. Access to a reliable automobile is required. Responsibilities: - Schedule, coordinate, and conduct unit showings with prospective tenants - Follow up with active prospects to find them a home with Pangea - Assist prospective tenants with applications - Meet and exceed monthly leasing targets - Work flexible hours as needed to show units - Navigate, update, and work effectively in Yardi software environment - Any projects or additional duties as requested
