Fintech Corporate Legal Director Location: Pittsburgh, United States (Remote but Occasional work at office) Type: Full-Time Contractor Overview We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal professional to support and execute the company’s commercial contracting and compliance needs. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts in a fintech environment. What You’ll Do Commercial Contracts * Draft, review, and negotiate commercial / enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data-sharing, and tokenization agreements. * Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks to support scalable business operations. * Execute contract signatures with multiple stakeholders. Compliance, Regulatory & Commercial Oversight * Lead the company’s compliance function, covering financial services, tokenization, payments, data privacy, and cybersecurity. * Monitor and interpret evolving U.S. and international regulations impacting fintech and blockchain operations. * Engage with regulators, auditors, and external counsel to manage filings, audits, or inquiries. * Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, tokenization, and data-sharing agreements. * Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes to support business operations. Qualifications & Experience * Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. * Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. * 3+ years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house experience in technology or fintech sectors. * Proven expertise in corporate law, compliance, IP, and commercial contracts. * Experience in fintech, blockchain, or digital asset regulations is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided. * Exceptional judgment, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
