WHAT YOU'LL DODesign, analyze and validate analog, digital, power, mixed-signal or RF circuitsTranslate electrical requirements into schematics, netlists, HDL, models and simulation inputsRun circuit simulation, synthesis and verification through CLI/programmatic workflowsUse Python for simulation automation, parameter sweeps and result analysisAnalyze voltage, current, power, gain, bandwidth, impedance, noise, timing and stabilityPerform corner, transient, frequency-domain, worst-case and Monte Carlo analysisCompare simulations with analytical calculations and physical measurementsDiagnose parasitics, layout, power/signal integrity, thermal and manufacturing issuesEvaluate AI-generated circuit solutions and identify invalid assumptionsDevelop reproducible reference solutions and automated verificationREQUIREMENTSMaster's/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, OR Bachelor's + 1–2 years relevant experienceStrong experience in Circuit DesignExperience with Analog / Digital / Power / Mixed-Signal / RFReal-world projects that were fabricated, integrated, shipped or taped outAcademic simulation-only experience is not sufficientPractical Python proficiencyExperience with programmatic EDA / SPICE / PCB / HDL / synthesis / verification toolsHardware bring-up, laboratory validation or post-fabrication debugging experienceStrong understanding of components, tolerances, failure modes and design trade-offsKEY TOOLSngspice • Xyce • Yosys • Verilator • KiCad • SPICE • HDLPython: PySpice • NumPy • SciPy • pandas • Matplotlib • cocotbEquivalent CLI / scripting / API-based EDA tools are accepted.🤖 AI + HARDWAREPrevious AI experience is NOT required.
