Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with Blockchain experience– AI-Powered Social Platform + Web3 | InvestaX About Us We are supporting a well-funded startup building a next-generation social platform powered by AI technology. Backed by strong investors, product is already live. The team is now rebuilding its technology stack and infrastructure to support large-scale user engagement, real-time communication, personalized experiences, and intelligent content delivery. This goes beyond a traditional executive position. We are looking for a CTO with a strong technical background and proven leadership experience who can define long-term technology strategy, lead engineering execution, and help shape the future of an innovative social platform. *What You Will Own:* - Define and execute long-term technology vision and engineering strategy - Lead architecture and development of scalable backend systems, APIs, and platform infrastructure - Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, data, and AI - Drive technical decisions on scalability, security, performance, and reliability - Collaborate directly with founders, product, and design to turn business goals into execution - Establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices - Oversee platform infra for user engagement, messaging, content management, and personalization - Lead adoption of AI for user experience, recommendation systems, and platform intelligence - *Lead Web3 integration:* smart contracts, wallet authentication, token utility, on-chain reputation/social graph - Evaluate emerging tech (AI/Blockchain) to maintain competitive edge *Requirements:* - Proven experience as CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or similar executive role - Strong background in designing and scaling high-traffic consumer or social platforms - Extensive experience with modern software architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure - Experience leading engineering orgs through rapid product growth - Strong knowledge of backend, frontend, DevOps, databases, system scalability - *AI:* Experience with AI-powered products, recommendation systems, personalization, ML integrations highly preferred - *Blockchain (NEW):* Solidity / Rust / Anchor / Foundry, gas-efficient contracts, OpenZeppelin, audits. DeFi / SocialFi / L2 experience is a huge plus - Experience with React, http://Node.js, mobile tech, modern web frameworks a strong plus - Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making - Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for product innovation and long-term growth - 8+ years engineering, 3+ years leading teams of 5+ engineers *Compensation:* - Competitive salary: $6k - $15k/month (based on location) - 1% - 3% Equity + Token allocation - Co-founder-level influence, fully remote - Direct work with founder & investors
