Responsibilities

Job Description: - Our client needs a Founding Product Marketer with 4–5+ years of B2B product marketing experience at a high-growth tech startup who can build the marketing function from the ground up. - This person should be comfortable operating as a team of one (with agency partners for leverage), working directly with the founder, and have a track record of owning positioning, messaging, and launches end-to-end. - Bonus points for enterprise sales environment experience and being deeply AI-native in daily workflows. Responsibilities: - Own the company's positioning and messaging across all channels — website, sales materials, social, and every customer touchpoint — to stake the company's claim as the category leader in AI for heavy industry. - Build sales enablement materials that move deals forward: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive intel. - Translate new product capabilities into compelling launches and communications, working closely with product and engineering. - Turn customer deployments into credible proof points and case studies for a technical industrial audience. - Manage and coordinate multiple agency partners (content, events, social media) as execution arms, providing strategic direction and quality control. - Run a consistent content rhythm across LinkedIn, website, and email — being the brain behind what the company says and how it says it. - Build AI into every marketing workflow so one person delivers the output of a team. Must-Haves: - 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on B2B product marketing in tech. - Experience in high-growth startups. - Exceptional writing and editing skills with a high taste bar. - Fluency with AI tools in daily marketing workflows. - Self-motivated and hungry to learn and grow. - Comfortable with ambiguity; builds playbooks from scratch rather than expecting to inherit one. - Strong judgment on quality — will not offload thinking to AI. - Cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and engineering. - End-to-end ownership — has shipped things soup-to-nuts, not just contributed to a piece of a larger team project. - At least one stint of 2+ years where they built something meaningful and saw results (some job-hopping is otherwise normal in marketing). Nice-to-Haves: - Experience in enterprise sales environments. - Agency and vendor management experience. - A strong customer marketer background with rigorous case study and customer storytelling work, if hungry to expand beyond that narrow lane.
