Requirements and responsibilities

• Managing the core accounting and finance business operations, including A/R, A/P and payroll • Administration and oversight of financial accounting and reporting software systems and/or ERP systems (Sage Intacct for GL and Cube for FP&A) • Occasionally build sophisticated valuation models for strategic investments and possible acquisitions. • Act as the point person and liaison between our third party accountants • Work with the Chief Operating Officer to coordinate and supervise daily operations ‘ • Work with the People and Culture team to develop and implement employee expense policies and procedures. • Work with the Philanthropy and Investments team on tracking fulfillment of pledged donations • Assist in any audit and tax return preparation and filings • Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies • Manage & advise on the monthly budgeting and monitoring of expenses • Create reports and submit them to members of the Leadership team • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
