Synapse is on a mission to accelerate the democratization of best-in-class financial products for everybody. We are looking for a Dispute Analyst with a love for finance and a desire to ensure that our customers succeed. The Dispute Analyst will be responsible for handling all aspects of the dispute process, including chargebacks and disputes resulting from card payments. They will investigate fraud claims, identify potential fraud types, and develop strategies to prevent fraud activity. The Dispute Analyst will also collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and respond to customer inquiries. Responsibilities: - Handle all aspects of the dispute process in compliance with regulations - Investigate fraud claims and identify potential fraud types - Develop chargeback response strategies and gather evidence - Escalate issues when unable to resolve in a reasonable amount of time - Analyze statistical data on cards and chargebacks to identify patterns - Develop internal procedures for chargeback processing - Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues - Respond to customer inquiries for chargeback and dispute-related questions
