ALIVATION HEALTH, LLC is seeking a versatile and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their vibrant medical team. Responsibilities:
- Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within their respective departments.
- Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
- Provides routine diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency care for patients in collaboration with the supervising Psychiatrist.
- Maintains patient case load requiring specialized training in a clinical area.
- Provides patient medication management and education regarding prescription effects and side effects.
- Completes patient related administrative and clinical documentation.
- Confers with patient, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
- Utilizes multi-specialty services within clinic (Primary Care, Pharmacy & Research): Utilizes cutting edge health services in patient treatment plans, i.e. TMS, EEG, Ketamine, PGX
- Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.
- Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.
- Demonstrates excellent active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader health care community.
- Demonstrate competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
- Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.
