We are seeking a strategic & technical BI Lead with over 10 yrs of experience to spearhead our data visualization & transformation initiatives. You will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and actionable business insights, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients.The ideal candidate is not just a Power BI expert, but a data architect who understands how to build scalable, governed, & performant data pipelines using DBT and SQL.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Client Management: Act as the primary consultant for clients, translating vague business requirements into concrete technical specifications.Strategic Leadership & Client Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project health, timelines, & data accuracy.Strategic Leadership & Client Management: Lead a team of BI developers, providing mentorship, code reviews, & architectural guidance.Data Transformation & Modeling: Architect & maintain robust data models using dbt (data build tool) to ensure a "single source of truth."Data Transformation & Modeling: Design efficient Star Schemas and Snowflake Schemas that optimize for both performance & user-friendliness.Data Transformation & Modeling: Write complex, highly optimized SQL queries to extract & manipulate data from warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).Power BI Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end Power BI ecosystem, including Workspace management, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Gateway configurations.Power BI Excellence: Develop advanced DAX measures and high-impact visualizations that drive executive decision-making.Power BI Excellence: Ensure report performance optimization & mobile-responsiveness.Technical Qualifications:10+ yrs of experience in BI development within the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem.Expert-level proficiency with dbt for modular data modeling & documentation.Mastery of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Service management).Advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, performance tuning) & Dimensional Modeling.SSIS/SSRS: Proven track record of deploying enterprise-level packages & reports.Required Education & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Exp: 10+ yrs of relevant experienceRecognition & Achievements:We have been recognized as a Star Performer in Data & AI Services Specialists - Everest’s North America PEAK Matrix 2025, and as a Leader in AIM’s Pema Quadrant of Agentic AI Service Providers - 2025.In Nov 2023, Straive acquired Gramener, an award-winning, design-led data science company, enhancing our data, analytics, & AI capabilities.
