Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Spanish Bilingual Dental Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative and insurance-related processes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental or orthodontic environment.
Responsibilities:
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks prior to appointments
Process and follow up on prior authorizations with insurance providers
Provide exceptional customer service to patients in both English and Spanish
Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
Handle incoming and outgoing calls via VOIP system
Assist with general administrative tasks and front desk operations
Qualifications (Required):
Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic practice (Must)
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Ortho2 Edge
Experience using VOIP systems such as RingCentral
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively
Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems
