Role Summary
The Retail Operations Coordinator is a hands-on execution role responsible for ensuring retail locations are active, accurate, and operationally sound. This role supports the Sales Director by managing day-to-day retail execution across store operations, kiosks, inventory and collateral distribution, Google Business Profiles, and sales reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, systems-literate, detail-oriented, and comfortable following up until work is done. As the business scales, there is opportunity to take on additional responsibility based on performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Retail Store Execution & Visits
- Follow up with authorized retail locations to confirm active participation
- Conduct store visits (as needed) to verify operational accuracy and execution
- Ensure stores are following required operational standards
- Identify gaps during visits and coordinate corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of store status and execution
Inventory & Collateral Distribution
- Manage distribution of kiosks, signage, marketing collateral, and store materials
- Track inventory levels and ensure accurate delivery to retail locations
- Verify proper placement and usage of collateral in-store
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and flag issues promptly
Kiosk Deployment & Verification
- Confirm kiosks are properly placed, visible, and functional
- Verify QR codes, content accuracy, and system performance
- Perform monthly kiosk verification checks
- Track compliance and coordinate issue resolution
Google Business Profile (GBP) & Review Execution
- Ensure each retail location’s GBP is live, accurate, and updated
- Drive and track weekly review generation per location
- Follow up with underperforming locations to improve review activity
- Maintain clean review performance tracking
Marketing Execution
- Ensure in-store promotions, signage, and offers are correctly deployed
- Coordinate execution with the marketing team
- Verify completion with photos, screenshots, or confirmations
- Flag missing, outdated, or incorrect materials
Sales Reporting & Coordination
- Review sales reports regularly for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with sales leaders to validate retail performance data
- Flag discrepancies, trends, or execution issues
- Maintain organized reporting trackers and dashboards
Reporting & Sales Director Support
- Provide clear weekly execution updates to the Sales director:
- Completed work
- Outstanding tasks
- Execution issues
- Items needing escalation
- Support additional execution initiatives as assigned
KPIs
- Active retail location percentage
- Inventory and collateral accuracy
- Kiosk verification and compliance rate
- Reviews per location per week
- Task completion timeliness
- Accuracy of execution and reporting
Requirements
- 2–4+ years in retail operations, field operations, or sales support
- Very computer- and systems-literate (CRMs, dashboards, spreadsheets, tools)
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable working with reports, data validation, and operational systems
- Willingness to conduct store visits as needed
- English required; Spanish a strong plus
