Responsibilities

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Adenza Axiom (AxiomSL) Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Axiom ControllerView platform. This role focuses on regulatory reporting modules for financial institutions and requires strong technical expertise, hands-on Axiom experience, and collaboration with business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Development & Configuration * Build and configure Axiom ControllerView components including Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform, and Tabular Reports. * Customize dashboards, workflows, and reports based on business needs. * Review, optimize, and enhance existing configurations and code. System Integration * Integrate Axiom with upstream systems via REST/SOAP APIs. * Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms. Testing & QA * Design and execute unit tests and functional test plans. * Diagnose and resolve issues in both development and production environments. Support & Maintenance * Provide ongoing technical support for Axiom-related issues. * Monitor production processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Collaboration & Documentation * Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements. * Maintain technical documentation, release notes, and change logs. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience * 5–10 years in software development. * 3+ years of hands-on Axiom ControllerView (v9/v10, RegCloud) development. * Experience with US regulatory reports. Technical Skills * Strong SQL/PLSQL and Oracle database expertise. * Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, Databricks (preferred). * Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and ETL development. * Solid understanding of financial products and risk management. Soft Skills * Excellent communication and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Mandatory Skills * Axiom ControllerView component development and maintenance.
