They develop innovative solutions for partners and more than 8 million subscribers worldwide. They work across a broad range of technologies, particularly in the energy, HVAC, and water management space. They also collaborate with industry-leading hardware partners to expand their ecosystem. As a Hardware Product Manager, you will have the chance to develop innovative solutions, work with new hardware products, and support the hardware engineering team. You will become the product expert and liaison for your area of expertise, facilitate Agile sprint planning, ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met, plan the go-to-market strategy for new products, conduct market research, and work with external hardware partners. Responsibilities: - Becoming the product expert and liaison for your area of expertise by using and testing the product. - Communicate with members from each department to assess goals, priorities, incentives, and strategy. - Facilitate Agile sprint planning and regular meetings with Engineering to plan and execute work on existing projects. - Ensuring that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met for your projects - Working with engineering, support, sales and high-profile partners to resolve product issues. - Planning the go-to-market strategy for new products – Collaborating with engineering, sales, supply chain and other teams, educating stakeholders, and delivering product presentations. - Conducting market research – Gathering feedback from customers and analyzing the market landscape. - Championing enhancements to existing products. - Test new features and fixes alongside Engineering to better understand the scope and limitations, as well gain an understanding of the development tools involved. - Working with external hardware partners to source the highest quality solutions for our platform. - Coordinate with our industry partners to help direct design decisions to improve the product offering Building36 brings to the professional services channel. - Compile and provide release packages and Engineering Change Orders to manufacturing partners. - Look for patent opportunities to protect the intellectual property created across projects. - Contribute to internal and external knowledge bases around hardware specifications and customer FAQs.
