Requirements and responsibilities


In the first month, you'll: • Experience our current onboarding program yourself, and then take over the process for future hires, with your own improvements and optimizations • Take over the recruiting process, owning the full hiring cycle for ~3 hires/month • Review our current employer branding and D&I practices, and implement improvements. Within 3 months, you'll: • Take on large scale projects and initiatives for strengthening internal communication and culture • Audit company's compliance with relevant regulations and laws and make improvements where needed • Own payroll, benefits, equity, and compensation programs. Within 6 months, you'll: • Guide the company through an engagement survey and 360 and compensation review process • Co-lead the planning and execution for semi-annual company offsites (the first one will probably be virtual, but we're hoping to be allowed to do in-person ones after that!) • Hire and lead recruiters and/or people ops people. Within 12 months, you'll: • Guide the company through open enrollment • Collaborate with leadership to plan how we'll grow teams and change organizational structures over time in order to hit long term goals • Increase the company's hiring speed (3-4 new team members per month), and scale up onboarding program as well as other internal processes.
