Responsibilities

Role Overview: - EmpathCare Recruitment Solutions is assisting a growing UK-based facilities management and construction business in recruiting an ambitious Finance & Commercial Manager. - This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career finance professional who is looking to build a long-term career with a growing international business. - You will play an important role in developing and improving financial processes while working closely with the leadership team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day financial operations. - Process supplier payments and payroll. - Prepare monthly management accounts. - Perform cash flow reporting and forecasting. - Support UK VAT and HMRC compliance. - Assist with Companies House filings. - Analyse financial performance and identify trends. - Review project profitability. - Build KPI dashboards and reporting. - Support budgeting and forecasting. - Assist with year-end financial reporting. - Improve financial processes to support business growth. Essential Requirements: - SAICA, SAIPA, or ACCA qualified. - Newly qualified up to approximately 5 years post-qualification. - Strong management accounting knowledge. - Commercial mindset. - Experience with UK VAT. - Experience with UK Payroll. - Experience with HMRC. - Experience with Companies House. - Experience using Xero, Sage, Syspro, SAP Business One, or similar ERP systems. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong analytical ability. Advantageous Experience: - Facilities Management. - Construction. - Engineering. - Property Management. Remote Requirements: - Reliable fibre internet. - Backup power (Inverter or Generator).
