We are currently seeking a Microsoft Support Administrator.The Microsoft Support Administrator is a valued member of the Coretek NOC team responsible for providing 24x7 Level 2 support for client environments. Coretek is seeking a Microsoft Support Administrator to manage and support our clients’ Microsoft-based infrastructure. We are excited to add a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and a high level of determination to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to end-users, managing Azure & Microsoft 365 support services, assisting with Entra ID administration and working closely with Coretek and Microsoft engineers on more complex application issues.RequirementsResponsibilities: Provide technical support for Microsoft products including Microsoft Azure, Windows, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and Power BI.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses and groupsManage and support Microsoft Exchange Online, including email flow and mailboxesPerform Active Directory administration and troubleshooting such as group policy managementRespond to support tickets and resolve issues related to Microsoft and Azure environments in a timely fashion to minimize downtimeAssist in backup, recovery, and security best practices using Microsoft toolsEscalate and collaborate with Coretek engineers and Microsoft to resolve complex technical issuesTrack the progress of client incidents and requests during the entire lifecycle to ensure the issues are closed within the agreed Operation Level AgreementCommunicate, internally and externally, the status of the tickets directly with clientsCreate and maintain IT knowledgebase articlesAssist with cross training of other NOC support team members as neededRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, preferred or experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) in a medium-to-large data center environment supporting multiple clients and systems2+ years of Microsoft Administration experienceStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange online, and TeamsRequired Certifications:Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator AssociateAzure Fundamentals: AZ-900Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Groups Policy and DNS/DHCPFamiliarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune is a plusKnowledge of MFA and Conditional Access support technologiesExperience with PowerShell scripting is preferredFamiliarity with remote support and event management tools and IT ticket systems – ServiceNow preferredStrong listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAccuracy and attention to detail when monitoring and maintaining systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environmentAdept at communicating with all levels of technical experienceA strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task effectivelyEnglish proficiencyBenefitsCoretek offers a comprehensive suite of Health Benefits, flexible PTO, 401K and an amazing and energizing workplace culture that is rich with opportunities for professional growth and development.
