Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger Accountant to support month-end close activities, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes within a dynamic corporate accounting environment.Manage month-end close of the General Ledger and prepare journal entriesPrepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsPerform financial analysis and present insights to managementConduct variance analysis and review financial performanceReconcile General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basisEnsure accurate and timely reporting for performance assessmentSupport shared services across multiple entities/companiesPrepare analytical reports by contract and business unitRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics, or Business (or Associate’s degree in a related field)1–3 years in accounting and general ledger operations1–3 years experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP HANA preferred)Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skillsExperience in corporate accounting or accounting firms is highly desirableKey SkillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailSolid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reportingExperience in journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processesStrong analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to work within compliance frameworks and deadlinesOracle Financials or SAP experience (preferred)Ideal CandidateStrong analytical thinker with high attention to detailComfortable working in structured accounting environmentsAble to handle multiple entities and reporting requirementsStrong communicator in both English and SpanishIf you are interested, please share your resume at sara@ahutechnologies.com
