Requirements and responsibilities

We're looking for a Cloud Platform Principal Consultant to join the team at Simpson Associates.The Cloud Platform & Security practice has grown a lot over the last couple of years, and this role is about building on that. As Principal Consultant, you'd be the senior technical voice in the team, leading our most complex Azure engagements, shaping how we deliver, and helping the consultants around you grow. It's as much about people and direction as it is about hands-on architecture.Our clients are NHS trusts, police forces, local authorities, and charities. The work is meaningful, often complicated, and rarely dull. You'd be working across Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Purview while also owning senior client relationships and contributing to how we develop our services. Data governance is becoming an increasingly important part of what our clients need, and we want someone who can help lead that conversation.If you're a Lead Consultant ready to step up, or already operating at Principal level and looking for somewhere you can actually shape something, I'd love to have a conversation.
