Role Overview: The Salesforce Lead will serve as the strategic and technical owner of the Salesforce Ecosystem. This senior-level role requires a blend of enterprise architecture expertise, hands-on development knowledge and leadership skills to scale Salesforce across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will drive the Salesforce roadmap, mentor a high-performing team and ensure that the platform continuously enables organizational growth and customer success. Key Responsibilities: * Strategic ownership and roadmap. * Define and execute the multi-year Salesforce strategy in alignment with business objectives. * Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for Salesforce to enable new business capabilities and efficiencies. * Lead platform governance, ensuring consistent architecture standards, data integrity and compliance. Technical Leadership and Architecture: * Oversee architecture design for scalable, secure and high-performance solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, etc.). * Evaluate and implement advanced Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Einstein AI/Analytics, CPQ, Field Service, DevOps Center). * Provide deep guidance on integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware), data modeling and enterprise-level security. Team Leadership and Delivery: * Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, architects, admins and business analysts; foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. * Oversee the full SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment—ensuring best practices in CI/CD, code review and release management. * Manage external partners and consultants to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Act as the key liaison between technology and business units (Sales, Operations, Compliance, Customer Success, etc.). * Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while balancing cost, performance and maintainability. Continuous Improvement: * Stay ahead of Salesforce releases and emerging technologies; recommend and champion platform innovations. * Monitor platform health, adoption and ROI; proactively identify areas for optimization or automation. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Experience: * 10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or architect role managing enterprise-wide Salesforce programs. * Proven track record of leading large-scale Salesforce implementations with multiple clouds and complex integrations. * Hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and declarative configuration. * Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data governance and security models. * Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git). * Certifications (highly preferred): Salesforce Application/System Architect or Technical Architect, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator and relevant cloud certifications. * Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
