The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high performing sales team within an assigned territory. This role oversees strategic planning, revenue growth, customer relationship management, and execution of sales initiatives to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities and a successful track record in sales management.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and motivate a regional sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development to enhance team skills and productivity.Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as needed.Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement strategic regional sales plans aligned with company goals.Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.Drive the execution of key sales initiatives to expand market share and grow revenue.Account & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.Support the sales team in high value negotiations, contract discussions, and customer presentations.Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience across the region.Performance Monitoring & ReportingMonitor regional sales performance, KPIs, and forecasts to ensure targets are met.Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and results for senior leadership.Leverage CRM tools and data insights to optimize sales processes and territory performance.Job RequirementsRequired7+ years of experience in sales, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue goals.Strong leadership abilities with experience managing sales teams (10+ years preferred but not required).Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.PreferredBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience managing multistate territories or large regional portfolios.Background in B2B services, financial services, or related industries.Compensation and Benefits$150,000 base salary plus a super generous commissionBenefit package with health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options401(k) retirement plan option with company matchingGenerous paid time off policy - start with 18 days per yearPaid holidays immediately upon hire - 7 standard holidays & 2 floating holidays of your choiceRemote PositionEqual OpportunityAltus Commercial Receivables is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
