We are looking for a versatile Web Developer with technical SEO strength, design sensitivity, and a deep understanding of site speed, structured data, and Lighthouse audits. You’ll help us improve client websites through both visual updates and backend fixes — all with a focus on performance, usability, and search visibility.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Build, update, and maintain WordPress websites (primarily Elementor, WPBakery, Bricks).
- Troubleshoot and fix Core Web Vitals and mobile page speed issues using Google PageSpeed Insights and Chrome DevTools Lighthouse audits.
- Run and interpret Lighthouse audits, then fix the issues found: Unused JavaScript/CSS, render-blocking resources, layout shift, CLS, and LCP issues, SEO and accessibility warnings.
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues using Ahrefs, Search Console, and Lighthouse: Broken links, canonical errors, redirect chains, meta tag issues, missing H1s, sitemap/indexing problems.
- Run structured data tests using Lighthouse SEO tab, Schema.org validator, and Google Rich Results Test.
- Implement and debug LocalBusiness schema and JSON-LD markups.
- Maintain and integrate tools like: Gravity Forms, WP Rocket, RankMath, AIOSEO, WhatConverts, Google Tag Manager.
- Set up form tracking, analytics, GA4, Search Console, and conversion events.
- Fix responsive/mobile layout issues and basic UI/UX inconsistencies (margins, button contrast, font sizing).
- Work from shared task trackers (Google Sheets, Slack, Trello, Notion).
✅ Requirements:
- 2+ years of WordPress development (Elementor or similar builders).
- Fluent written English — comfortable enough to join Slack calls or record Loom videos.
- Confident using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Lighthouse, and Pagespeed Insights.
- Solid front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, basic JS).
- Understanding of how SEO and performance intersect with design and UX.
- High attention to detail — you catch mistakes before we or the client do.
- Self-managed, accountable, and responsive during EST working hours.
💡 Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Bricks Builder, Webflow, or Shopify.
- Can take a rough Figma wireframe and execute a clean, responsive build.
- Familiar with schema plugins or manual JSON-LD coding.
- Worked with digital agencies before and used tools like Slack, Loom, and Trello.
