As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Gameplay Programming Intern to join the team and help us in crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.Technical requirementsSolid knowledge of C++Understanding of basic C++ concepts (such as types, OOP, Memory management etc.)Be able to write robust code without infinite loops and memory leaksPortfolio of personal project(s) developed in C++ including source code from within the last two yearsCandidates without coding example will not be consideredProjects done during the coursework at university will not count as we would like to see what do you like to work on and your level of codingPersonalityOpen minded, willing to experiment and iterate over a specific featureGood communication skills (in English)Passion for making and playing great gamesResponsibilitiesYou will be working with our developers on real gameplay systems so your programming skills are very important to us.We want you to be an active participant in the production of the game; the technical side of the creative team!Most of the time you will be:Working on all aspects of gameplay systems of the RPG: code architecture and development and supportCooperate closely with the other departments to implement the needed game componentsWorking together with the UI designers on the in-game UIsWriting robust and maintainable codeClosing descriptionWe are looking for highly motivated individuals with ever-evolving skillsets and passion for player experience.
