Role OverviewAlchemy is seeking qualified Practitioners and Early Practitioners with applied, real-world experience in Artificial Intelligence to participate in a skills assessment validation engagement. This is a short-term, contract, remote engagement in which the practitioner will complete one or more practitioner-level skills assessments aligned to the AI content area, plus a brief post-assessment survey for each. This role does not involve teaching, instructional design, content creation, or ongoing advisory responsibilities.Engagement DetailsEngagement Type: Contract / 1099 – Short-term engagementLocation: RemoteEstimated Time per Assessment: Approximately 1 hour or lessAssessment Window: Each assessment must be completed within a defined access window (typically 5 business days once access is granted)Scope of WorkFor each assessment selected, complete a practitioner-level skills assessment used for validation and standard-setting purposes.Complete a short post-assessment survey providing feedback on the assessment experience.This role does not includeTeaching or facilitation responsibilitiesInstructional or curriculum design workContent authoring or SME review of materialsOngoing advisory or consulting responsibilitiesRequired ExpertisePractitioners should be current professionals with applied, real-world experience related to one or more of the following knowledge areas and skills within the AI content area:Apply ethical frameworks to the design, deployment, and evaluation of AI systemsIdentify and mitigate bias, fairness, and accountability concerns in AI workflowsDesign and refine effective prompts for generative AI modelsApply prompt engineering best practices for performance, reliability, and safetyWork with Large Language Models (LLMs) including selection, fine-tuning, and prompt strategiesApply reinforcement learning techniques to real-world decision-making problemsUse Explainable AI (XAI) tools and techniques to interpret model behavior and outputsTrain, evaluate, and tune machine learning models across common workflowsUnderstand the broader AI landscape including supervised, unsupervised, and generative approachesIdeal Candidate ProfileActive practitioner with hands-on experience in one or more domains within the AI content area.Practical, working knowledge of how the concepts listed above are applied in real professional settings.Does not need to be an academic researcher or industry thought leader — applied experience is what matters.DeliverablesCompleted skills assessment(s) within the defined access window.Completed post-assessment survey for each assessment taken.Compensation$50 USD flat fee per assessment completed. Practitioners may complete multiple assessments within the content area, and total compensation scales accordingly.
