We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Junior QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about identifying issues, improving user experience, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software products.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases for web and mobile applications as per test plans and release schedulesIdentify, document, track, and validate defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar toolsRe-test resolved defects and ensure timely verification and closure of reported issuesAssist in creating, updating, and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and QA documentationPerform functional testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixesConduct regression testing during release cycles to ensure platform stability and prevent unintended impactsCollaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues efficientlyCommunicate testing progress, risks, blockers, observations, and release readiness to relevant teamsFollow established QA processes, testing standards, release checklists, and quality assurance best practicesSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pre-release validation, and production readiness activitiesAssist in maintaining and executing automated test scripts where applicableSupport test data preparation, environment setup, and analysis of automation test resultsSkill RequirementsStrong understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance fundamentalsExperience in manual testing of web and mobile applicationsFamiliarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOpsKnowledge of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing methodologiesBasic understanding of test automation concepts and automation toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to product qualityGood communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a remote work environmentQualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Preferred ExperienceHands-on experience testing web and mobile applicationsExposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or AppiumBasic understanding of APIs and API testing tools such as PostmanFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems is a plus
