Strong hands-on experience with Unity Catalog is mandatory.The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator, stakeholder manager, and problem solver with the ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise data governance strategy, policies, and standards.Manage and implement Unity Catalog for centralized governance and access control.Drive data quality, metadata management, lineage, and cataloging initiatives.Partner with engineering, analytics, security, and business teams to enforce governance best practices.Define data stewardship and ownership frameworks.Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive governance adoption and resolve challenges.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management.Strong hands-on experience with Unity Catalog (Mandatory).Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.Strong SQL and cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).Preferred SkillsDatabricksCollibra / AlationInformaticaPower BI / TableauAI/ML Governance
