Requirements and responsibilities

We are next gen digital transformation, technology consulting, enterprise IT and product engineering services firm We are looking for a Lab Staff Engineer to design creative Internet of Things (IoT) based engineering projects for students that address real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in low level embedded software development, communications software, and project development and management skills. If you have a desire to work with students of all ages and are proficient in Microsoft programs, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities: - Design creative Internet of Things (IoT) based engineering projects for students that address real-world problems - Design IoT based engineering projects that illustrate engineering and technology topics, such as wireless communication, Internet of Things, 5G, VR, AI, among others - Manage various projects from start to finish, including documentation and prototypes - Work with others across departments to develop new engineering activities and projects, including engineering and government affairs - Conduct hands-on workshops to refine IoT based engineering project by incorporating feedback and lessons learned - Support Thinkabit Lab staff with engineering content and new IoT projects in general
