Responsibilities and deliverables

We are partnering with an innovative client seeking a Financial Data Privacy Analyst to help safeguard sensitive information and support next-generation AI systems. If you have strong expertise in PII compliance, financial data handling, and global privacy regulations, this is a high-impact opportunity. Role: Financial Data Privacy Analyst. Location: Remote. Rate: $35 – $70/hr. Type: Contract. What You Will Do: - Identify and mitigate risks related to PII in financial documents and systems. - Ensure compliance with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). - Review and redact sensitive financial documents (CIMs, statements, contracts). - Detect non-obvious PII and indirect identifiers in complex workflows. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define data privacy protocols. - Provide recommendations to enhance privacy controls and compliance. - Support incident response and risk mitigation efforts. What We Are Looking For: - 2+ years of experience in PII compliance (finance/corporate environments). - Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and data protection laws. - Experience with document redaction and privacy tools. - Background handling sensitive financial data and workflows. - Excellent communication and analytical skills. - High attention to detail with an investigative mindset. Bonus Points: - Background in finance, auditing, or compliance roles. - Experience with automated privacy/redaction tools. - Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or similar.
