Immigration Paralegal Assistant (Bilingual English/Spanish). Location: - Remote (Latin America or Philippines). Schedule: - Part-Time (20 hours per week), with potential to transition to Full-Time. - Time Zone: EST. Overview: - We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal Assistant to support a growing U.S. law practice specializing in immigration law. - You will take ownership of active casework, keep files organized, ensure deadlines are met, and help move cases forward efficiently. - As the firm continues to grow, this position offers the opportunity to expand into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage immigration cases from intake through completion. - Prepare, review, and organize legal documents and supporting evidence. - Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation is complete. - Identify missing information and follow up to keep cases progressing. - Coordinate with the attorney on case priorities, updates, and deadlines. - Track outstanding tasks and ensure timely follow-up. - Assist with administrative support related to active legal matters. - Provide support on existing personal injury cases as needed. Requirements: - 4+ years of experience supporting U.S. legal practices. - Proven experience as an Immigration Paralegal handling U.S. immigration cases. - Ability to independently manage immigration case workflows with limited training. - Experience preparing legal documentation and supporting attorney case management. - Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal). - College degree or equivalent professional experience. - Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. - Reliable internet connection and availability during U.S. business hours. Nice to Have: - Experience supporting Personal Injury cases. - Experience working with both immigration and personal injury law firms. - Experience supporting U.S.-based attorneys or law firms. - Familiarity with legal case management or document management systems. - Previous experience working in a fully remote legal environment.
