- Leading global financial services company - Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment - Competitive salary and benefits package We are seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to join our team and provide support for a variety of technology areas, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and VMware. The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, support, and automation of secure server operating systems and third-party application deployment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global environment within the finance industry and contribute to cross-team projects and infrastructure upgrades. Responsibilities: - Provide support for a variety of technology areas, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and VMware - Administration and support for patch management, file/folder permissioning, SQL/windows clustering, SPN delegations, IIS - Provide support on the Server Operations Team Ticket Queue and manage cases in a timely manner - Provide support to integration efforts in key areas, including NTFS permissions and management - Collaborate with application owners on application deployment and configuration - Understanding of security, compliance and change management controls - Participate in cross team projects - Configuration, maintenance and automation of secure server operating systems and third-party application deployment - Administration and upgrades relating to windows server technologies and Active Directory for multiple domains - Collaborate on performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for servers and applications - Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for escalated issue resolution - Ability to work as part of a team and with others in all levels of the organization
