Learn more at Havoc: All-Domain Collaborative Autonomy .About the RoleHavocAI is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Integration Engineer to help lead a new team focused on building integrations above the vehicle platform layer. This team will connect C2-to-C2 systems, communications stacks, and other mission-critical software across commercial and customer-facing environments.This senior role blends program-based integration work with core full-stack engineering responsibilities across backend services, APIs, SDKs, and customer- and developer-facing interfaces. You will operate across the full stack to deliver commercial-grade integration solutions, bringing both breadth and depth to systems integration.As a senior engineer, you will help shape technical direction, mentor other team members, and own integrations end to end. You will also build, maintain, and grow HavocAI’s open-source SDKs, including engaging with and supporting the developer community that uses them.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-level object modeling, system interoperability, full-stack development, and translating complex requirements into reliable, production-ready integrations for commercial customers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between C2 systems, communications platforms, and related infrastructureBuild full-stack solutions spanning backend services, APIs, SDKs, and front-end interfaces that support commercial integration needsBuild and extend open-source SDKs, ensuring they are reliable, well-documented, and easy to useEngage with and support the open-source developer community, fostering adoption, feedback, and contributionModel and design high-level abstractions that enable interoperability across diverse systemsCollaborate with Product, Platform, Autonomy, Cloud, Commercial, and customer-facing teams to deliver integration solutions aligned with mission and customer needsTranslate complex customer, program, and technical requirements into scalable integration architecturesMentor engineers and contribute to internal standards and best practices for integration architecture, full-stack development, and community-facing SDK developmentOwn integrations end to end, from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, validation, deployment, and supportQualifications7+ years of senior-level software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex projects end to endStrong programming experience in Go and PythonFull-stack development experience, including modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript, alongside backend servicesDemonstrated experience designing and implementing system integrations, including APIs, SDKs, communications interfaces, or distributed software systemsAbility to model high-level abstractions and design integration architectures across complex systemsExperience with version control, CI/CD, and containerized environments, including Git, Docker, and KubernetesExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong ownership, technical judgment, and ability to operate in ambiguityMust be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearancePreferred SkillsBackground in mission systems, C2 platforms, distributed communication systems, or customer-facing integration environmentsExperience building commercial or customer-facing software productsExperience contributing to or maintaining open-source projectsFamiliarity with data serialization formats such as JSON, Protobuf, or CBORFamiliarity with messaging and communication protocols such as MQTT, gRPC, or DDSKnowledge of defense, maritime autonomy, robotics, or other complex multi-system domainsExperience building developer tools, SDKs, API platforms, or integration frameworksExperience working in high-growth startup, defense technology, or mission-critical software environmentsSuccess in This RoleA successful Senior Commercial Full-Stack Integration Engineer at HavocAI will help establish the technical foundation for a new integration-focused team and deliver production-ready systems that connect HavocAI’s platform with customer, partner, and mission-critical software environments.You will bring structure to complex integration problems, create reusable abstractions, build high-quality SDKs, and help make HavocAI’s systems easier to adopt, extend, and integrate.
